Job Title: Health Care Assistant – Complex Care (Domiciliary)
Salary: Competitive rates | Enhanced rates for complex care | Mileage paid
Hours: Full-time / Nights / Live-in opportunities when available

What We Are Looking For

Essential:
Minimum 12 months’ experience in complex care
Experience with PEG feeding, suctioning, spinal injury care, or bowel management
Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach
Confidence working in a client’s home environment
Good communication and documentation skills
Willingness to undertake further clinical training
Full UK driving licence
Care Certificate
Moving & Handling training

Desirable:
Experience with neurological or degenerative conditions

The Role
You will be supporting adults with complex clinical conditions in their own homes, providing both personal care and advanced clinical support under the guidance of our Registered Nurses and Clinical Leads.

This is not a standard domiciliary care role; this is specialist, person-centred complex care.

You will be working with individuals who may have:
Motor Neurone Disease (MND)
Spinal injuries
Neurological conditions
PEG feeding requirements
Airway management and suctioning needs
Complex bowel management
Limited mobility and high dependency needs

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality personal and clinical care in the client’s home
Support with PEG feeding and medication administration (where trained)
Perform suctioning and airway care (where trained)
Support with bowel management programmes
Assist with moving & handling using specialist equipment
Monitor and report changes in client condition
Work closely with nurses, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate care records
Provide emotional support and promote dignity, independence, and choice
