Permanent position
Salary £35-£40k per annum
Monday to Thursday 07.30am-16.45pm, Fridays 07.30am-12.30pm
Immediate start preferred, but notice periods will be considered
We are looking for a QUALITY INSPECTOR to join our client based in Mere, Wiltshire. This hands-on role involves inspecting both incoming and outgoing components using precision tools.
Carry out First Offs
In-Process
Goods Inwards
Final inspection to customer drawings and specifications
Visual checks of finishes
Quality checks to micron-accurate measurements using advanced technology
Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to identify and resolve quality issues

What we need from you
CV showing experience in aerospace environments
Understanding of paint, anodising and surface finish standards
Confident using a CMM, micrometres, vernier callipers, plug/thread/air gauges and surface roughness tools
Strong maths skills and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Able to work to AS9100D aerospace standards and internal procedures
Confident using Microsoft
