My name is Grace and I am 28 years old and I live in Holt with my mum and dad.
I’m looking for a supportive, friendly person to join me in making the most of my time both at home and in the community.
I enjoy going out for coffee, meeting with friends and also have a job on a Saturday working for Barnardo's.
When I am home I love nothing more than gaming and I also compose and produce my own electronic music.
Duties include:
- I am looking for a PA who can help me on a morning with my breakfast either downstairs or in bed depending on how I am feeling on the day and to prompt me to take my medication.
- Twice a week on a Monday and Thursday I will need help with showering as I need help with steading myself getting in and out of the shower and occasionally I will need help to change my bedding. A bonus would be if the PA had use of their own vehicle to be able to take me to meet my friends for coffee and also get to work on a Saturday.
Candidate qualities:
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
- I’m looking for someone who is caring, flexible, and approachable to help me on a morning get ready for the day, support me to have access to the community, and continue developing my life skills. It’s important to me that you get to know me properly and be accepting of me and support and encourage me to be independent. - A driving license and access to your own vehicle is preferred, but not essential.
You’ll need to be friendly, reliable, and responsible, with great communication and social skills. Respect for my privacy and sensitivity to my needs is essential. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping a young adult live as independently as I can.
