You’ll prioritise workflow, monitor KPIs, maintain accurate documentation, and support a high‑performing team through strong coordination, coaching, and driving compliance.

What you will do
As a Production Manager, you are accountable for, but not limited to:
- Promote a safe, high‑performing workplace by identifying risks, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement through Lean practices, RCCA, and PID tools.
- Plan and prioritise daily operations, adjusting staffing, monitoring KPIs, and improving performance across the section.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for processes, tooling, performance, and inventory, ensuring full safety and quality compliance.
- Lead and support a team of logistics operatives, coordinating daily tasks, providing coaching and training, and fostering a collaborative, improvement‑focused culture.

NB. The panel cannot make assumptions when shortlisting therefore please demonstrate your qualifications and experience on your CV relevant to the criteria outlined.

- Planning and Organising: You stay ahead of operational demands by prioritising workloads, anticipating bottlenecks, and allocating resources smartly. Working Knowledge means you break tasks into clear steps and adapt plans fast when conditions shift.
- Analytical Thinking: You interpret logistics data, KPIs, and process trends to spot patterns and recommend improvements. At this level, you evaluate what matters, compare alternatives, and make decisions grounded in clear, logical analysis.
- Effective Communication: You communicate clearly with logistics teams to ensure tasks, priorities, and safety expectations are well understood. Basic Understanding means you share information accurately and use the right tone and approach to keep operations running smoothly.
