Crynodeb
Capalex manufacture extruded aluminium parts for a variety of industries. We are seeking a motivated individual to work within our Inspection Team.
Whilst full training will be provided this role would suit someone with a quality inspection background. The role includes the inspection of aluminium parts for dimensional and surface finish accuracy based on customer requirements. To facilitate this the incumbent will use a variety of measuring instruments (verniers, micrometers etc.) working to engineering drawings. Additionally the role also includes the correction of observed faults and the preparation of product surfaces prior to dispatch. With further training there will also be the opportunity to operate our heat treatment plant.
Our Inspection Team work a 36 hour week (working days are Monday - Thursday).
Capalex has seen significant investment over the last 2 years culminating in the installation of an new extrusion press, an investment of £2.5M. This is an exciting time to join the business.
