We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Clifton.This role will be working Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00.**Please note, we have two roles available: one permanent contract and one fixed term contract (6 months) to cover maternity** Cygnet Hospital Clifton is a 25 bed specialist low secure service for men with personality related difficulties, who also present with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours. The hospital is set out across two wards; Ancaria Ward is the admissions/ initial treatment ward, which offers a defined pathway through to Acorn Ward, which has a focus on rehabilitation, in preparation for moving on into the community or supported living. Your Day-to-DayWe are seeking an academically strong candidate to support and enhance the psychological care of patients at the service by assisting the Qualified Psychologist with; Contributing to assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written) Clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes Administration, audit, research and service development Were looking for someone who is Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent BPS (British Psychologica l Society) Accredited Preferably experienced in health care and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role Passionate about learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team Qualified to Masters degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable) Why Cygnet?
