Glen Group are seeking a proactive and experienced Full Time, Permanent 37.5 hours per week Service Delivery Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality cleaning services across a portfolio of schools and public buildings throughout Staffordshire. This is a key leadership role within our team, responsible for ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness, staff performance, compliance, and client satisfaction.
A Service Delivery Manager is responsible for the implementation of agreed cleaning services to site, in line with the strategic operational plan of Glen Group. In conjunction with sales, business support and Operations Director, the Service Delivery Manager will recommend and build the operating model, including; work balance and hours review, site specification, cleaning schedules, recruitment, providing guidance and training for onsite teams, equipment and consumable management, and regular monitoring and reporting. Group manager is also responsible for regular engagement with the Glen team and the client stakeholders at designated sites, with a focus on supporting our team and enhancing the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and support a team of Cleaning Supervisors and frontline cleaning staff across multiple sites.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality cleaning standards are maintained in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor staffing levels, recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Conduct regular site visits and audits to assess quality and compliance.
• Build strong relationships with school leaders and other site contacts to understand and meet local requirements.
• Oversee stock management and ensure efficient use of resources and cleaning materials.
• Ensure health & safety policies and COSHH regulations are adhered to at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and service development initiatives.
About You:
Proven experience managing cleaning operations across multiple sites, preferably in an education or public sector environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams remotely.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A hands-on, flexible, and solution-focused approach.
Knowledge of health & safety, safeguarding, and cleaning industry regulations.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Staffordshire.
