A well-established, forward-thinking small animal practice on the Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire border, near Newark, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and supportive team. With no weekend or out-of-hours work, flexible scheduling, and excellent facilities, this is an outstanding opportunity for a vet seeking genuine work–life balance.

The Practice
This is a bright, spacious, and well-equipped veterinary practice, designed with both patients and team wellbeing in mind. Facilities include:
• Separate cat and dog wards
• Three consult rooms, including a dedicated cat consult room
• Dental X-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy suite
• Comfortable upstairs staff room, kitchen, and meeting room
• Extensive outdoor space and ample off-road parking
The practice is further supported by access to advanced diagnostics, including MRI and CT, available at nearby sister practices.
The Team
You’ll be joining a close-knit, experienced team that values collaboration and support, including:
• Practice Manager
• Lead Vet holding a GP Certificate in Dermatology
• Experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
• Supportive Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA)
The caseload is varied and engaging, offering excellent clinical exposure without excessive pressure.

• Permanent Veterinary Surgeon position
• 40 hours over 4 days (full time)
• Part-time and flexible working options available
