Role Overview:
Job Title: Night Kitchen Porter
Location: Wembley
Type: Ongoing, full-time day shifts
Shifts: 10.00/11:00 PM to 6.00/7:00 AM between Mon-Sun (rota provided weekly)
Pay Rates: £12.21 per hour plus holiday accrual, paid weekly
As a Night Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly during night hours. From maintaining cleanliness to supporting the team, your role is essential in upholding our high standards of hygiene and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, ensuring all kitchenware is sanitised and stored properly
• Ensure proper waste disposal in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
• Report stock shortages and maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including the correct handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Night Kitchen Porter is essential
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work full-time on a rota basis, including weekends and holidays
• Physically fit to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and standing for long periods
