Summary
About the Role
Cargo2go Global is expanding its Global Operations department and is seeking an experienced and highly adaptable Operations Executive to support our fast-growing international freight business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team where flexibility, problem-solving, and operational excellence are key.
The role is primarily focused on European road freight, with exposure to air, ocean, and courier movements, offering variety and long-term career progression within a global logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage European road freight operations, including export, import, and cross-trade movements
Coordinate shipments across road, air, ocean, and courier modes (road currently approx. 90%)
Handle customs procedures, including documentation and ATA carnets
Ensure compliance with Hazardous / ADR / IMDG regulations where applicable
Liaise with customers, partners, and suppliers to meet varied and time-critical requirements
Maintain high levels of accuracy, service, and adaptability under pressure
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 2 years’ experience in European road freight operations (export, import, cross-trade)
Exposure to air, sea, and courier freight (advantageous but not essential)
Strong understanding of customs processes, including carnets
Knowledge of Hazardous / ADR / IMDG regulations
Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
Highly adaptable with a customer-focused mindset
Willingness to work remotely and flexibly when required
Good GCSE grades (or equivalent) in English, Geography, and Maths
Training & Development
Full training provided on our Transport Management System (TMS)
Ongoing development within a fast-growing Global department
