Summary
Primary Responsibilities As a Salaried GP, you will deliver high quality, safe, and effective medical care to our registered population in line with the GMS contract. You will manage routine and urgent clinical work, including face to face, telephone, and duty doctor sessions, while contributing fairly to the overall practice workload. The role includes the effective management of long term conditions, appropriate prescribing in line with national and local guidance, and the timely completion of clinical administration such as referrals, repeat prescriptions, and record keeping. You will work in accordance with clinical guidelines, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to QOF and other delegated clinical areas. You will play an active role in practice life, attending meetings, supporting governance and continuous improvement, maintaining appraisal and revalidation requirements, and committing to ongoing professional development. The post holder will also support the education and training of medical students and other learners and work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to support the strategic aims of the practice. Additional Responsibilities You may also be asked to contribute to clinical audit activity, participate in local service development initiatives, and support the review of significant and nearmiss events in line with best practice.
