Summary
Core Responsibilities To deliver evidence based therapeutic and psychologicallyinformedcare which conforms to their own ethical standards and is inline with Horizons Values and SHINE Therapeutic Model of Care. To undertakeOTassessments of young people toidentifyindividual needs and develop and provide the delivery of individualised and group-based intervention programmes. ToprovidespecialistOTadvice and guidance to young peoples plans includingbehaviour plans, teaching plans, risk assessments and EHCPs. To develop and contribute to thedevelopment,delivery,and evaluationoftherapeutictraining to all staff in the organisation. To use outcome and evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of services and to report this data back to theHead of SEND. To manage a caseloadforindividualintervention, providingspecialistOTinput to young people andteamsin educational settings. To contribute to the development of a therapeuticallyinformedservice across education teams. To provide specialist knowledge ofOTprinciples and techniques through consultation and guidance to other colleagues within Horizon.
