Summary
Routine and emergency appointments up to 16 patients per session Home Visits to be shared equally after 1st visit is allocated to on call gp Lab reports to be actioned daily and shared between all doctors in surgery that day Medicine management queries and med reviews where possible Checking and sending referrals written referral go back to secretaries QAIF input during consultations as needed Signing of fair share of prescriptions (this may involve additional prescriptions through busy times/annual leave/sickness within the practice) You will be required to supervise medical students as part of a shared rota GP registrar hot reviews where needed (blocked time for this) You will be required to complete a small amount of practice medical reports roughly 3 hours per month.
