We are a Nottingham-based same-day courier company looking for a reliable part-time van driver to work Mondays and Fridays.
This role is ideal for someone looking for fixed days each week, with the opportunity to provide holiday and sickness cover for our main driver when required. This is not a multidrop parcel role — the work involves time-critical, customer-focused same-day deliveries.
As with all same-day logistics, some flexibility is required. Start and finish times may vary, and occasional early starts may be needed.
Pay & Benefits:
£13.25 per hour (dependent on experience)
Enhanced rates for anti-social hours (after 10pm and before 6am)
28 days holiday (pro-rata)
Company pension scheme

Opportunity for additional shifts during holidays or busy periods
Use of a well-maintained company vehicle
Vehicles You’ll Drive:
Primarily a short wheelbase Transit
Other vans or vehicle types within your licence entitlement, as business needs dictate
**Drivers with HGV licences (C1 / C / C+E) are encouraged to apply, although this role is predominantly van-based.**
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out same-day collections and deliveries safely and professionally
Ensure safe loading and manual handling procedures are followed
Adhere to road traffic laws and safe driving practices
Complete vehicle checks and report defects
Deliver excellent customer service
Represent the company positively at all times
Apply If You:
Hold a full UK driving licence (minimum 3 years, max 6 points)
Are reliable and punctual, especially on fixed working days
Can work independently and to tight deadlines
Have good customer service skills
Are flexible when additional cover is required
