We are looking to recruit a motivated and professional individual to operate as a Site Security Officer within the Edinburgh, based at the NWG Gogarburn Centre.
As a high-profile site, the successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment. The position requires a professional approach and the ability to work closely with all levels of ISS staff, local management, and client representatives.
This role operates on a four-on-four off shift pattern, covering both day and night shifts:
07:00–19:00
19:00–07:00
Due to the nature of the shift pattern, a level of flexibility above the norm is essential.
The Role
Incident and occurrence reporting to Security Management.
Conduct patrols as required or in line with Assignment Instructions (AIs).
Access control in accordance with established site processes.
CCTV monitoring within the control room environment.
Stay vigilant and identify any suspicious activities.
Create a positive, professional relationship with customers and colleagues.
Respond promptly and professionally to client needs, supporting service delivery in partnership with the client and internal teams.
About You
Ability to successfully undergo BS7858 screening.
Valid SIA Licence.
Previous experience within a similar role.
Computer literacy, including confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
Strong report writing and incident management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational requirements.
A team player with good customer service skills.
