We are currently recruiting Mental Health Support Workers to join our mixed, dedicated team in Hykeham Lincoln. We particularly welcome male applicants to help maintain a balanced workforce.
You’ll be supporting an individual with Autism, ADHD, mild learning disability, cerebral palsy (ambulant), and trauma‑related emotional needs. The role involves working with emotional dysregulation, high‑risk behaviours, and crisis‑prone situations, so confidence, resilience, and a calm, trauma‑informed approach are essential.
Role: Mental Health Support Worker
Pay Rate: £12.40 Per Hour
Shifts: Days and Nights available
Hours: Full-time & Part-time
Person Specification
Experience with ASD, ADHD, trauma, behaviours that challenge
Strong de‑escalation & non‑reactive approach
Calm under pressure
Good boundaries, consistency & organisation
Driving licence (essential)
Key Responsibilities
Person‑centred support & independence building
Daily living tasks (meds, cooking, cleaning, documentation)
Emotional regulation & structured routines
Follow PBS plans.
Community access & physical activity (e.g., gym)
Work with mental health & emergency services when needed.
