Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Banbury, Oxfordshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily routines, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall well-being. Key Responsibilities
Support individuals with their daily routines, including assisting with meals, medications, and personal care
Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting a positive and energetic attitude
Maintain a high level of dignity and respect for each individual, tailoring your support to their unique needs and preferences
Accompany individuals on outings, such as walks or coffee trips, to promote social interaction and community engagement
Work flexibly across various shift patterns, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleep ins, weekends, and bank holidays
Required Skills & Experience
Previous experience in healthcare or social care is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and empathetic approach
Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support, with a focus on promoting independence and dignity
