Packing Operative
• 05:30am – 2:00pm shift available (£13.48/hour)
• Non-rotating shifts – every weekend off
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
We are currently recruiting for Packing Operatives to join a well-established organisation within the manufacturing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term position in a sterile environment with excellent benefits and stable working hours.
The role:
• Pack products accurately and to quality standards, following GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) procedures surrounding packing goods at all times.
• Complete documentation correctly and on time.
• Follow Health & Safety and sterile environment guidelines.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, reporting any issues.
• Support team members and be open to training others.
• Report any safety, quality, or process concerns to supervisors.
• Contribute to efficiency and improvement initiatives.
About you:
We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a team environment while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
Ideally experienced in a GMP packing role (sterile, food, or other regulated environment).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and use problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety compliance.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
This role involves standing, lifting, packing, stacking, wrapping, computer-based work, and completion of role-related paperwork in a fast-paced sterile environment. Transport is advantageous due to site location and limited public transport options.
