Job Title: Maths Teacher

Contract Type: Short-term sickness cover (up to 5 weeks)
Salary: MPS/UPS (paid to scale with marking and planning)
Working hours: Full-time
Brief description:
A committed Maths Teacher is required to deliver engaging lessons and maintain high classroom standards during a short-term cover period to support continuity in learning.

This is a large, inclusive 11 to 18 community setting with a supportive environment, strong pastoral systems, and a focus on ensuring positive outcomes for all learners.
About the role:
The successful educator will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, follow established schemes of work, maintain high expectations, and contribute positively to the school community during the cover period.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Deliver high quality Maths lessons
- Maintain strong behaviour management
- Follow departmental planning and assessments
- Support students learning and progress
Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- QTS and eligibility to work in the UK
- Experience teaching Maths in secondary settings
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom control
- A proactive and professional attitude
