Contract type: Temporary (could become Permanent)
Hours: Part Time
Hours 4 Hours per Week Including Weekends
British Garden Centres family group of 75 Garden Centres are looking for a Restaurant Team Member Porter; our restaurants serve millions of customers every year. From delicious carveries to tasty afternoon teas, we cater for everyone.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the overall efficiency of our culinary team.
In this role, you will work closely with our chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure that all equipment, utensils, and work areas are clean and sanitized.
You will also assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the chef or cook.
The Ideal Candidate will have.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Professional and reliable.
• Remain calm under pressure.
• Fully flexible with days and hours worked to meet business needs.
You will be responsible for.
• General kitchen duties
• Cleaning/clearing tables
• Pot wash
• Serving customers
• Basic food preparation
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Adhering to company policies
• Helping to prepare salads and desserts
