Pupil Premium Lead – Burnley

Humly is recruiting a Pupil Premium Lead to join a primary school on a long-term basis.

This is a full-time role starting 23/02/2026 and continuing for approximately 12 months, suited to an experienced teacher who is confident working strategically with pupils and families to drive impact. There is no fixed class teaching commitment, with the role instead focusing on targeted intervention, monitoring progress, and supporting pupils eligible for Pupil Premium.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and coordinate Pupil Premium interventions across the school

Monitor and evaluate the progress of pupils eligible for Pupil Premium funding

Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement targeted strategies

Support families to improve engagement and educational outcomes

Analyse data to assess impact and refine interventions

Report outcomes to school leadership and stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

Primary Teacher QTS or SEN Teacher QTS

Experience in strategic pupil support and intervention planning

Proven ability to assess impact and embed effective strategies

Strong communication and organisational skills

Confident working with mixed-age pupils and families

Not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)

Pay

Paid to scale from day one: £168.80 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6)

Daily hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Primary school-based position

Enhanced DBS required (Humly can support if needed)
