The Classic Car Restorer / Build Technician will be responsible for:
- Rebuilding and restoring classic vehicles to show-winning standards
- Stripping, inspecting, and assembling engine components with precision
- Performing welding and fabrication tasks using MIG and TIG techniques
- Installing and aligning suspension, brakes, steering, and drivetrain systems
- Fabricating bespoke brackets, mounts, and custom parts required for restoration
- Diagnosing mechanical issues during the build and testing phases
- Collaborating with team members to ensure meticulous quality standards are met
Requirements:
- Proven experience in classic car restoration, rebuilds, or vehicle builds
- Skilled in engine rebuilding, welding, and fabrication processes
- Knowledge of classic, performance, or low-volume vehicles is highly advantageous
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Strong problem-solving abilities paired with a passion for craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrable experience in engine rebuilds and automotive restoration projects
