We are looking for a caring and committed Waking Night Worker to join our team at Open Door, a night shelter providing emergency accommodation for people experiencing homelessness.At Open Door, we create a safe, inclusive space where every individual is treated with compassion and respect. You will work collaboratively with a sleep-in colleague to support people throughout the night, helping them feel empowered, valued and able to move towards greater independence.The RoleEnsure the safety and wellbeing of residents overnightOffer emotional support and respond to any crisesCommunicate clearly and adapt to individual needsWork collaboratively with a sleep-in colleaguePromote independence and dignityMaintain accurate records and complete light cleaning dutiesAbout YouYou are reliable, empathetic and committed to helping others. You will bring strong communication skills and a team-focused approach.
