What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified teacher who can support the delivery of Computing, You will work alongside the successful staff team to further develop a centre of excellence focusing on Health Science / Sports Science and Computing.
Under the direction of the Curriculum Director, you will support the delivery of a range of qualifications which include GCSE Computer Science, L2 Cambridge National in IT, AAQ and Application Development, Data Analytics and Computer Science A-Level, as outlined in the offer on the UTC website. The successful candidate will create additional capacity in the department to ensure the successful implementation of the T-Level in Digital Software Development through ongoing planning, employer engagement and the successful securing and delivery of work placements.
You will be a highly skilled practitioner who understands the challenges of educating 13–19-year-olds in an employer led technology rich environment. Effective partnership working is absolutely critical to the UTC’s success. We also welcome applications from newly qualified teachers who have the skills and attributes to develop their expertise within our unique environment.
