What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a Clerk to the Governing body to join our team and help us continue our journey of ‘Improving as One’. We are seeking someone who is able to manage time effectively, work to deadlines and maintain confidentiality. Ideally, we are looking for an experienced clerk but training is available for the right candidate.
This role will involve taking the minutes of Governing Body Meetings (held five times per academic year from 5-6:30pm approximately) and of Finance Committee Meetings (four-five per year 5-6:30pm approximately).
Hours of work outside of meetings can be worked flexibly to produce agendas, minutes and administration tasks for the Governing Board.
What the school offers its staff
We offer you the flexibility to work in your own chosen hours to fulfill the requirements of the role
Commitment to safeguarding
This School is committed to safeguarding children and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a criminal records self-disclosure form and successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks along with other relevant employment checks.
