English Teacher
Full Time/Part Time (0.6 or above) considered Fixed term (1 year from Sept 2026) Maternity cover

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious English Teacher who wishes to be part of a successful, supportive team who is keen to further the success of English across the school. This is a fantastic time to join The Purbeck School, with excellent academic outcomes, supported by a caring and nurturing pastoral system.
English is taught through a dynamic curriculum, which prepares students by developing skills and knowledge necessary for success across the key stages. We work with our students to ensure that they leave school with a love for English and have developed their ability to read, speak and write with confidence.
We are looking for a teacher who wants to work within a strong team, is able to teach English across the key stages, within a compassionate school that really does live its core values of ‘kindness, aspiration, perseverance’, in a beautiful area of the country.
