Midday Supervisor

Grade 1, SCP 2-3, £24,413 - £24,796 (Pro rata’d)

Actual salary - £4,629 - £4,701

8 hours 20 minutes per week / term time only


We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Midday Supervisor to play a vital role in the welfare and conduct of pupils during the midday break.

The Midday Supervisor will supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground, toilets, classrooms and school premises. They will encourage pupils to develop healthy eating habits and good manners and to play appropriately and cooperatively which could include some educational play activities. They will also need to ensure that pupils observe basic hygiene and good order and discipline is maintained throughout lunchtimes.


We are looking for someone who:

  • has experience of interacting with children
  • interpersonal skills to communicate well with children and to command attention
  • an understanding of safeguarding and recognises the importance of ensuring a secure and safe environment for pupils
