Hours: 1.25 hrs per day
Salary: NJC Scale 2 Point 4 (paid for 39 weeks per year)Carlisle Infant School is looking for a caring and committed person to join our lunch leader team . Our team provide a positive environment for our children whilst in the lunch hall and engaged in activities outside. They are then set and ready to enjoy learning in the afternoon.
We are a creative, oversubscribed three form entry Infant school, well supported by parents, governors and the local community. Carlisle Infant School serves an extremely diverse community and we rise to the challenges that brings. We offer well behaved and inquisitive pupils, a creative curriculum, a supportive and dedicated staff. In addition, we offer the opportunity to develop links within our federation with Hampton Hill Junior School. Partnership with parents is at the heart of our caring, thriving school. You can find out more about the school on our Federation website At Carlisle Infant school we take the safeguarding of children extremely seriously. All applications will be thoroughly scrutinised and we will do everything in our power to prevent unsuitable adults from working with our children. All selection processes at our school are designed to identify and reject anyone who is unsuitable for work with children. At least one member of our selection panel will have attended a safer recruitment training course and gained certification. All staff working at Carlisle will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before taking up post. There is a culture of ongoing vigilance that ensures children are safe and secure with the adults they come into contact with at all times. References will be sought and checked and all staff are fully aware of the actions they should take if they have any concerns about the behaviour of a fellow staff member towards children.
