MECHANICAL ENGINEER, OILER - GREASER

PERMANENT NIGHT SHIFT
We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our workforce within our operations at BSW Timber, Newbridge. As a Mechanical
Engineer/Oiler - Greaser you will be assisting in the preventative maintenance of the sawmill machinery in order to maintain
efficient milling operations.
SPECIFICALLY, SOME RESPONSIBILITIES OF A MECHANICAL ENGINEER/OILER - GREASER MAY INCLUDE:
* All aspects of scheduled lubrication on various types of machinery throughout the production lines and across the mill.
* Lubricating moving part of heavy equipment throughout the mill.
* Changing oil in machine reservoirs; Cleaning and replacing oil filters.
* Ensuring swift clean-up of any hazards including sawdust, oil spills, etc.
* Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to and kept up to date.
* Upholding the appropriate Health & Safety practices.
ABOUT YOU:
We’re seeking a motivated and hardworking individual who understands the value of the machinery they are tasked with maintaining
and the importance of their role in the overall sawmilling operation. A degree of flexibility will be required to ensure
operations are maximised, maintained and quality targets are met with minimum wastage. In addition, you will have:
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* An appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
* Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
* Experience within a manufacturing, or similar production environment, would be advantageous.
* Ideally, successful candidates will hold a Full Drivers Licence, however this is not essential.
