Day-to-day of the role:
Sales Revenue Management
- Support the sales team with quotes, orders, and invoicing.
- Accurately record and monitor all sales transactions.
- Reconcile sales accounts and resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Oversee accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and following up on outstanding payments.
Customer Account Management
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer account records.
- Respond to customer queries on invoices, payments, and account issues.
- Support credit checks, limits, and general credit control processes.
- Manage customer details and keep the CRM database current.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the sales team to understand business needs and provide financial insights.
- Work with customer service, logistics, and other teams to ensure smooth sales operations.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline sales accounting processes.
- Contribute to developing and implementing new systems and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent German (minimum C1 level) — this is essential for the role.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Must be based in Frankfurt am Main or the Hessen region.
Professional Experience & Skills
- 1–3 years’ experience in financial accounting, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
- Completed training or qualification in financial accounting; a Bilanzbuchhalter certification is highly desirable.
- Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Solid understanding of German accounting standards (HGB) and basic knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with VAT and sales tax is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong accuracy in financial reporting and data entry.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of the trading card industry is an advantage, but not required.
