Join our Fire Safety Team at L&Q:
L&Q is seeking a Technical Coordinator to join our Fire Safety Team within Property Services. In this role, you will support management in delivering the Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) Programme, with a particular focus on coordinating, reviewing and assigning fire safety actions across a large and diverse property portfolio. You will help ensure the timely delivery and completion of FRA actions including those of High Risk priority.

Working closely with the FRA Manager, Senior Fire Officers, and colleagues across the wider Fire Safety team, including Passive Fire, Active Fire, and Housing Management, you will play a key role in coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on fire safety actions that sit within the FRA team.

Your impact in the role:
Your responsibilities will include allocating fire risk actions processed by external contractors to the wider business, overseeing actions assigned to the FRA team, and monitoring the resolution of high risk actions. You will help troubleshoot issues, identify blockers, and ensure compliance with current fire safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience managing fire risk actions in a reactive environment, strong problem solving skills, and a working knowledge of fire safety legislation.

You will also be responsible for coordinating the delivery of our Waking Watch Programme. This includes recording and monitoring buildings that require temporary waking watch arrangements, liaising with external stakeholders, and following up with internal teams to ensure they fulfil their responsibilities in line with the Waking Watch policy and procedure. Your work will support the smooth, compliant, and effective operation of the programme.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent administrative skills and be able to organise, plan, and prioritise your workload effectively. You will communicate confidently with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Strong proficiency in spreadsheets and digital systems is essential, along with the ability to analyse and present information clearly.

Experience using systems such as Arena, Keystone and ZetaSafe is desirable. You should also be proficient in the full Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
