Stores Supervisor - Band 3
Permanent role - 37.5 hours per week
A Stores Supervisor is a leadership professional responsible for the daily operations of a retail or warehouse environment. They serve as the primary link between front-line staff and upper management, ensuring the facility runs efficiently, safely, and profitably.
A store supervisor oversees daily retail operations, managing staff, inventory, and customer service to meet sales goals and maintain brand standards. Key duties include scheduling employees, training, handling complex customer complaints, managing cash, and enforcing safety procedures. They act as a bridge between management and staff, ensuring a clean, well-stocked store.

• Team Leadership: Oversee sales staff, cashiers, and stockers. This includes creating work schedules, delegating daily tasks, and providing ongoing training and performance feedback.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Control stock levels to meet demand, monitor for damage or theft, and coordinate deliveries.
• Operational Oversight: Manage opening and closing procedures, handle cash, and maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.
• Customer Service Excellence: Address customer requests or complaints directly and motivate the team to reach sales targets.
• Reporting & Finance: Prepare sales and inventory reports, manage budgets, and monitor profit margins.
• Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure all staff follow company policies.
