Place of work: Complete Remote work
We offer: £22 per hour, Full-time temporary role.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm.
Responsibility
What will you be responsible for:As a Disability and Mental Health Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring students receive comprehensive and tailored support.
Specifically the activities will be:
- Providing vital administrative support to students.
- Managing and responding to student queries with efficiency and empathy.
- Developing and implementing robust support plans for students with Specific Learning Differences (SpLD), mental health needs, and autism.
- Collaborating closely with students to address their unique requirements.
- Maintaining meticulous records and documentation.
- Liaising effectively with various university departments and external organizations.
- Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of student support services.
- Engaging in continuous professional development and relevant training.
Experience
2+years of experience as a disability Advisor
What requirements are we looking for?We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in supporting vulnerable students.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting students or individuals with disabilities and/or mental health challenges.
- Previous experience working with SpLD, mental health, and autism is highly advantageous.
- Immediate availability to commence employment.
