In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students by supporting their behavioural and emotional development.

As a Behaviour LSA, you will be responsible for providing tailored support to individual students or small groups, helping them to navigate the challenges they may face both in and out of the classroom. Your role will involve working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement personalised strategies that cater to the unique needs of each student.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Providing one-to-one or small group support to students, using a range of behaviour management techniques
- Facilitating social and emotional learning activities to help students develop essential life skills
- Maintaining detailed records and communicating progress with teachers and parents
- Attending meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices in behaviour management

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a deep understanding of child and adolescent development, as well as a genuine passion for supporting the emotional and behavioural wellbeing of young people. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

- Significant experience working as a Behaviour LSA or in a similar role
- A thorough understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices
