Crynodeb


To provide a high standard Hand Therapy service with in the Hand Injuries Unit. This involves working alone occasionally and as part of the team within Hounslow & Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust.



Depending on service requirements: - supervision of Therapy Assistant and students.



· Provide a high quality Hand Therapy service working under the guidance of more senior Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists and in lone worker environment in Plastics Hand clinics.



· To work as an autonomous practitioner in providing specialist hand therapy, assessment and treatment of patients with diverse presentations and complex hand injuries and conditions.



· Provide a diagnosis, develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme.



· To use evidence based principles, current best practice and specialist skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment.



· A high standard of clinical work is required which includes teaching and supervision of junior staff, assistants and students.
