Summary

Ayscoughfee Hall Museum, in the heart of Spalding is looking for enthusiastic and customer- focused Cultural Venues Assistants to join our casual staffing pool and support the smooth running of the museum.



What You’ll Do

Provide a warm and knowledgeable welcome to all visitors.
Support the day-to-day running of the museum, including front-of-house duties.
Assist with exhibitions, family activities, school visits, and events.
Help maintain the security and safety of the building, collections, and visitors.
Ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all public areas.
Process admissions, shop sales, and respond to visitor enquiries.


What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you:

Have an interest in heritage, culture, or museums.
Are reliable, flexible, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
Can work weekends, bank holidays, and occasional evenings as required.
Are comfortable in a busy, public-facing environment.
Experience in customer service, heritage, events is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided.
