About the Role
Long Term Futures is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in the Spalding area, supporting pupils aged 2-19 with learning difficulties, disabilities and SEMH needs.
Pupils learn in small, highly supported groups, with a strong focus on emotional regulation, independence and life skills. One Teaching Assistant role is available across both the primary and secondary sites, which are located close to one another.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils throughout the school day, helping them feel safe, confident and ready to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN/SEMH
- Support practical, hands-on learning activities
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and emotional wellbeing
- Help pupils develop independence and social skills
- Work closely with teachers and support staff

We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds, including teaching assistants or school support roles, care or residential childcare, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, mental health or wellbeing support, and creative disciplines such as art, music or drama.
An Enhanced DBS is required (or willingness to apply).
