You’ll help deliver high-quality care and learning through play, routine, and meaningful interactions — supporting children’s development every day.
Key responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS
Build positive relationships with children and their families
Observe, assess and plan for each child’s individual development
Create engaging, stimulating play experiences and learning environments
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene standards at all times
Support daily routines: meals, rest, personal care, play and transitions
Keep records/observations up to date and accurate
Help maintain learning resources, displays and room set-ups
Communicate professionally with parents, carers and colleagues
Who we’re looking for
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE/NVQ or equivalent)
Nursery/childcare experience preferred (but not essential if you’ve got the right attitude)
Kind, nurturing, positive and child-focused
Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player
A sense of humour — because no two days are ever the same
