Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant | Role Overview
• Based in Tameside (SK15 2BJ) with convenient transport links.
• Working with children aged 4–11 in a vibrant primary setting.
• Full-time, long-term position.
• Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm | Term-time only.
• Weekly salary between £500 and £560 (dependent on experience).
• Providing 1:1 support and leading small group interventions.
• Helping pupils overcome academic, social and emotional barriers to learning.
Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant | About You
• Minimum degree in a core subject (Education, Psychology, English, Maths or related fields desirable).
• Passionate about working with primary-aged children.
• Considering a future career in teaching, SEN, or educational psychology.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
• Previous experience supporting children (school-based, tutoring, mentoring, sports coaching or voluntary work) is beneficial but not essential.
