Job Purpose:I am a mother with four children, in a neurodivergent household, who is seeking a Personal Assistant to support me in my parenting role and everyday living tasks. This will include support with housework, meal preparation, shopping, admin, and taking the kids to clubs and activities.
This is a varied role and requires someone who can provide practical assistance while fostering a positive and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude and a good sense of humour, with a willingness to learn.
Location: NR14, Chedgrave
Details:
- Household Support: assist with cooking, cleaning, and general household upkeep.
- Errands & Admin: help with shopping and administrative duties, including filling out paperwork.
- Parenting Support: taking the children to clubs and activities.

Essential:
- Friendly, patient, understanding and trustworthy.
- A good sense of humour and a can-do attitude.
- A willingness to learn.
- Competent in reading and writing.
- Experience with supporting someone with Autism, ADHD, OCD and MH.
- The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour.
- Hours and days of work: up to 14 hours per week. Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays but can be flexible. Exact timing will be discussed at the interview. This role could also be considered on the basis of job share.
- This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, COSHH, Manual Handling of Objects, Medication Practice.
- A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
