Saint John Henry Newman Catholic College is a large Catholic secondary school in Oldham, serving a diverse and vibrant community. Rooted in Gospel values, we are committed to high expectations, inclusion and academic excellence for all.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Mathematics to join our supportive Maths Department.

The Successful candidate will:

  • Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3-4
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire pupils of all abilities
  • Contribute to the continued development of the Maths curriculum
  • Support the Catholic ethos and mission of the school


We are looking for teachers who:

  • Have a strong knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
  • Are effective classroom practitioners with high expectations
  • Work well as a part of a collaborative and committed team
  • Are supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
