SEMH Teacher (Primary & Secondary)
SEN School - Tadworth
QTS Required

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teacher to join our specialist SEN school in Tadworth, supporting pupils of primary and secondary age with social, emotional and mental health needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across primary and/or secondary phases

  • Support pupils with SEMH needs in both classroom and therapeutic settings

  • Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment

  • Implement positive behaviour strategies and individual support plans

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and senior leaders

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

  • Have experience working with SEMH and/or SEN pupils (mainstream or specialist settings)

  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

  • Be calm, patient, and adaptable in challenging situations

  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
