We are searching for a person to join our well established team in Radiology System Management.
We are looking for either a Band 3 with the view of supported on the job training or a Band 4 with transferable skills and experience of using bespoke Radiology IT systems.
You will be required to work as a Radiology IT Systems administrator in Diagnostic Imaging at DCH and the community hospitals, managing patient data and image transfers in the Patient Archive Communication System (PACS), the Radiology Information System (RIS), iCommunicator, Dragon Voice Recognition System and ICE electronic referral system and other related clinical systems.
Radiology IT at Dorset County Hospital is very forward thinking and we are looking for someone who can join and help us to develop our systems and our service across Dorset.
We have many exciting new projects coming in Radiology including new Electronic Health Record integration, AI of Radiology Imaging and new advancements in electronic ordering and patient access.
• The post holder will be required to work as a Radiology IT Systems administration lead in Diagnostic Imaging at DCH and the community hospitals, managing patient data and image transfers in the Patient Archive Communication System (PACS), the Radiology Information System (RIS), iCommunicator, Dragon Voice Recognition System and ICE electronic referral system and other related clinical systems.
• Responsible for daily quality assurance and data cleansing of the systems to ensure accurate patient data and work flow.
• Responsibility for producing a range of weekly and monthly statistics (i.e. waiting times, performance figures, 18 week pathway stats and VTE exams for clinical audit) as requested by the IT Systems Manager and to support other departmental Leads in statistical report production.
• The post holder will assist the implementation and ongoing management of Clinical and Administration IT systems within Diagnostic Imaging .( e.g. PACS , RIS , Data Sharing Systems , Electronic referral, IEP, VR, CD Robot)
• Deliver training on these systems to clinical staff in both secondary and primary care.
