Treasury Analyst - Renfrew, UK (6 month Contract)

Job Responsibilities

  • Review daily cash positioning and allocate funds across various cash pools accordingly.
  • Analyse bank statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Address and resolve day-to-day cash and banking-related issues efficiently.
  • Review monthly bank account analysis statements to maintain financial integrity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support treasury operations to ensure smooth financial processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate Degree or equivalent qualification, with a preference for a BA degree or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with banking software and platforms.
  • Experience working with treasury workstation systems.
  • 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, particularly in cash management and treasury functions, including bank reconciliations.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of banking operations and financial controls.
