We are committed to improving service provision and actively engage all staff in developing services. The successful candidates will be encouraged to develop creative ideas that support services users and the service as a whole. You will have the energy to work hard in a very active and busy inpatient care environment. A flexible approach is required as this post involves working flexibly over a 24 hr / 7 day period. We will offer you an induction and a continuing written appraisal and the opportunity to complete the care certificate, supported by regular supervision. Informal visits to the ward are welcomed. All applicants to this post will ideally hold a L2 or Level 3 Diploma / NVQ in healthcare, or possess skills, knowledge, and experience to an equivalent level. Where the applicant does not possess the actual qualification or demonstrable experience the Trust may require applicants to commit to beginning this (or a Level 3 qualification) within 6 months of commencing in post unless extenuating circumstances exist at the discretion of the Recruiting Manager.
