Pay: £21.00 per hour
Job Description:
LGV1 night trunker required for long term regular roles.
£21 p/h. 18.00 - 03.00 Monday to Friday. (must be flexible with start/finish times)
* Moving various vehicle types on private property (up to and including HGV's & Trailers)
* Making manoeuvres in confined spaces
* Coupling and uncoupling trailers
* Parking trailers in the yard including reversing into parking bays
* Bringing trailers in/out through warehouse bays and doors
* Opening and closing trailer doors, curtains and sliding roofs
* Supporting warehouse teams to restrain loads where required
* Remove load security measures from loaded trailers
* Assist the loading team with positioning the load on the trailer bed (watcher)
* Refilling vehicles with ad-blue
* Re-fuelling vehicles onsite
* Clearing/Cleaning vehicle beds before loading
* Carrying out detailed defect checks (including topping up basic essential fluids e.g. screen wash / oil)
* Reporting defects overnight to service providers
We are looking for flexible drivers who are happy with double decker trailers as well as normal trailers.
No more than 6pts on your licence and no major endorsements.
You must have held your licence for 1 year and ideally have relative driving experience.
