Diverse Support is a day care service for adults with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs from black and Asian communities.
We are currently recruiting a female support worker to join us in the Dudley borough for up to 13 hours per week.
The female support worker is required to assist a woman to access leisure, education, health and other community activities. The post holder will support the woman on a one to one basis, and with other care staff support a day care group.
You should be fluent in English and have good written skills, computer literate and a car driver. You should enjoy working with people, have initiative, and it would be an advantage if you have an interest in education and able to present information to a group to help with learning and plan fun activities.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and caring individual to join our friendly team.
Part time: Female Support Worker: up to 13 hrs. per week (Tues – Thurs)
Ongoing (subject to funding)
Salary: £12.21 per hour; casual mileage allowance
An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate for this role.
