Care Assistant (Full Time, Part Time) required to undertake all personal care for a group of residents with physical frailty, dementia and social needs. Reporting to the Registered Manager successful candidates will have the following attributes:
Person Specification:
A warm and friendly disposition
Good communication skills
Reliability, flexibility and motivation to work effectively with colleagues
Be able to follow instructions and direction
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Job Role
Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting or
assisting Residents with washing, dressing, toileting and meals.
Contribute to the high quality care and support to meet individual needs,
aspirations and well-being.
Assist in providing social activities by interacting with Residents and
supporting them to continue or take up new hobbies and interests.
Report on Residents wellbeing under the supervision of more senior staff
Promote and ensure a positive reputation of the Home.

Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential as all training will be given. Willingness to work towards a qualification in Health and Social Care or already have a qualification. We want you to enjoy working for us and offer a buddy system to help you settle in during the first few weeks.
Pay rate: £12.82/hour
Hours: Days or Nights, 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am, weekdays and weekends.
