Crynodeb
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of Histopathology and must have HCPC Registration, hold an IBMS Specialist Portfolio or equivalent, must have the IBMS Diploma of Expert Practice in Histopathological Dissection plus a minimum of three years post registration and be a Member/Fellow of the Institute ofBiomedical Sciences. The department in conjunction with BTHFT will support and guide the training, the candidate is expected to liaise with the Consultant staff, Advanced/Expert Practitioners and motivate themselves via self-directed learning. Previous experience of the use and maintenance of documentation such as SOPs and Audits would be desirable.
