LBV Driver - Night Shift

Salary: £15.56 per hour plus Veolia benefits

Overtime Available: paid at 1.5x, Saturdays 1.5x, Sundays 2x

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 22:00 pm - 06:30 am

Location: Dufours, 9-11 Dufours Place, Soho, London W1F 7SJ

What you'll be doing;

  • Drive and operate the vehicle supplied by Veolia, after receiving the relevant training.
  • It is the driver's responsibility to ensure that all road traffic legislation (including parking restrictions) is adhered to.
  • Work can vary from Hot Wash and be , Driving Goupil and carry out proactive and reactive jobs.
  • To ensure that each day all completed work is detailed on your daily report and 200sqm are completed everydays plus hot spots.
  • To comply with all traffic laws and legislation with relation to your duties including the security and weight of loads.
  • Ensure all road traffic legislation and tacho driving hours are adhered to.
  • Report any accidents that have occurred and complete the relevant accident/incident report form.
  • To carry out duties as required by your supervisor or Manager

What we're looking for;

Essential

  • A valid UK driving licence is essential, with the ability to drive a company vehicle.
  • Previous driving experience within a similar role
  • Work as part of a team as well as on his own initiative
  • Proactive and approachable attitude.

Desirable

  • Experience with hot wash equipment is preferable, but not essential, as training will be provided.
  • Prior experience working within the Waste Industry is preferable, but not essential .
